Research Assistant (RA) will work independently and in collaboration with IESE Professors in research projects in the areas of quantitative economics / operations / finance. RA will have 1 weekly meetings and energetic interactions with IESE Professors. The RA is not expected to be expert in all areas, rather will receive regular guidance and training from the Professor.
- For example, one project could involve analyzing data from an online platform and launching a new pricing tool. Another project could be analyzing GEO locations of supermarkets and extract statistical and business insights. Therefore, there will be a direct academia-to-business interaction.
- The research is expected to be published in leading academic Journals, providing the RA with first-hand experience working from the start to the end with academic projects.
- Degree in Economics or Engeneering or Operations or Computer Science. Last degree must have been obtained less than 3 years ago. Students doing a Masters degree and planning to pursue a PhD are particularly encouraged to apply.
- Experience with Stata and/or R and/or Python. Excellent knowledge in at least one of those is required.
- Experience with data analysis, econometric analysis, machine learning, optimization, programming, is a PLUS.
- Work-permit in Spain.
- High level of spoken and written English.
