PagoNxt is looking for a Strategy Manager, based in our Boadilla del Monte office.

The new company, wholly owned by Santander, is one of the largest private fintechs in the world, and delivers payments & trade solutions for merchants, businesses, and consumers in fast-growing markets.

We are looking for a strategy manager to join the Finance & Strategy unit of PagoNxt, who will support the formulation of PagoNxt´s overall strategy and equity story for both external and internal audiences, working in collaboration with PagoNxt businesses. This will entail conducting research and analyses, extracting findings and insights, and summarizing conclusions.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

As a Strategy Associate, your responsibilities will be to research the payments ‘market, organize data and derive insights, analyze specific countries and opportunities, identify and follow key competitors, understand the business strategies of PagoNxt businesses and its KPIs, summarize the key findings and prepare powerful written materials.

We need someone like you to help us in different fronts (not exhaustive):
Analyse industry and competitors ‘reports.

Build internal databases with key industry data.

Liaise with counterparts in PagoNxt businesses/support units, and build effective relationships.

Extract conclusions from external and internal data.

Prepare powerpoint presentations, management reports and materials in other formats as required.

EXPERIENCE

3-5 years of experience in similar responsibilities as described.

Previous consulting experience in a leading strategy firm would be valuable but not essential, as well as previous experience/exposure to the payments market.

EDUCATION

University degree.

An MBA will be a plus.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

Must be proficient in English and Spanish (both oral and written).

Excellent command of powerpoint and excel.
