**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive **Health and Safety Senior Consultant** to oversee and lead all HSE aspects of a high-performance data centre in Zaragoza, Spain. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with local legislation, maintaining best-in-class safety standards, and supporting operational excellence in a mission-critical environment.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of the Health & Safety Management System (HSMS) in alignment with Spanish legal requirements and global standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and audits to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Provide expert guidance on health and safety matters to internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Manage incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implement lessons learned across the site.
- Deliver HSE training and awareness programs for all site personnel and third parties.
- Collaborate with design, construction, and operations teams to embed safety into all phases of the data centre lifecycle.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices, Spanish HSE laws, and emerging risks in data centre environments.
- Support sustainability, environmental, and occupational health initiatives as needed.
- Produce regular reports and dashboards on HSE performance metrics.

**Required Qualifications & Experience**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- NEBOSH Diploma, Master en PRL (Prevención de Riesgos Laborales), or equivalent HSE certification.
- Minimum of 5-7 years' experience in a senior health and safety role, preferably within data centres, high-tech infrastructure, or industrial environments.
- Strong knowledge of Spanish health & safety legislation and international standards (ISO 45001, ISO 14001).
- Experience with contractor management and construction site safety is a plus.
- Fluent in Spanish and English, both written and verbal.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.

**Preferred Attributes**
