Machine Learning Engineer - Spain Based - Fully Remote (CET time zone) - 6-Month Contract
Our client, an international IT service provider, is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to join them as a contractor, with the option to work fully remote or onsite within the charming region of Valencia. Starting at an initial 6 month contract, multiple extensions are expected and there is great, long-term potential.
**Responsibilities**:
Work with the team (Technical Lead/Architect/other team members) and customer focal point to understand the business need and design/implement the technical data management solution.
Design and implement Data Solutions based on given requirements preferably Microsoft Azure cloud stack.
Design and Implement data pipeline integrating with various data source and file types using ADF, Logic App or any other equivalent services in other public cloud platforms.
Design and Implement production grade Data ingestion solution into Azure AI search or other search service in real time using Python, Azure Document Intelligence (equivalent text extraction service), Azure Functions, Azure Open AI.
Implement and optimise data extraction from different data sources such as PDF’s, JSON and other unstructured data set.
**Requirements**:
Extensive experience with data engineering tools and techniques preferably Microsoft Azure platform.
Proven expertise in Azure AI services including Open AI tools with additional experience in AI search indexing techniques and platforms.
Expertise in prompt engineering
Proficiency in Python, OOPs concept in Python, asynchronous programming in Python
Good to have understanding of Python Quart framework/Flask
Strong understanding of Restful API design principles, including HTTP methods, data formats (JSON, XML) and error handling.
Microsoft Azure platform Data services expert knowledge Proven experience working with Data Factory, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure AI service, Open AI, Cosmos DB, AI search etc.
Proven experience building CI/CD pipelines in Azure using, at least, scripting and ARM templates.
Experience with Service Management tools (ticketing systems)
Experience with Service Management methodologies (ITIL) and Change Management
Customer-centric approach to delivery and problem solving.
