**About the role**

We are seeking a Program/Delivery Manager to drive execution, optimize delivery processes, and empower technical teams by ensuring excellence in key areas such as deployment, incident and vulnerability management, and ongoing maintenance and support. In this critical role, you will manage programs and cross-functional initiatives across the Product Engineering Organization, ensuring teams deliver on time, with high quality, and clear impact. You’ll bring a structured yet flexible approach to program management. Importantly, you’ll lead through influence, fostering collaboration and alignment across diverse teams, and empowering stakeholders to achieve shared goals without relying on direct reporting relationships.

You will collaborate closely with Engineering Managers, Product Managers, and Technical Leads to streamline processes, define clear deliverables, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Acting as an Agile Coach, you will enable teams to excel by promoting lightweight, efficient workflows and empowering them to achieve their full potential.

**What You'll Do**
- ** Program & Project Leadership**
- Oversee and coordinate programs and projects across Seqera’s Engineering teams, ensuring that teams deliver on-time, with high quality, and with a clear impact.
- Guide teams to clarify goals, deliverables, and success metrics for initiatives, breaking down complex projects into actionable workstreams.
- Enable our engineering team to proactively manage dependencies, risks, and blockers across teams to ensure smooth delivery.
- Track and communicate project status, impacts, and trade-offs to stakeholders, providing visibility at both tactical and strategic levels.
- Own and improve project and information management systems for our R&D organisation, continuously improving it’s structure to fit our evolving business
- ** Delivery Management & Optimization**
- Lead teams to deliver high-quality software solutions with predictable timelines.
- Identify opportunities to optimize workflows, automate processes, and scale delivery methodologies as Seqera grows.
- Define and analyze key delivery performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve team efficiency and outcomes.
- Facilitate release management processes, working closely with engineering leads to streamline cloud and enterprise software delivery.
- ** Agile Coaching & Continuous Improvement**
- Champion agile methodologies, coaching teams to tailor processes (Scrum, Kanban) for their needs and improve sprint predictability.
- Help teams drive their agile ceremonies (standups, retrospectives, sprint planning) and foster a culture of iteration and ownership.
- Continuously identify process gaps and implement solutions that enhance team collaboration and execution.

**About you**
- Program & Delivery Expert: You’ve managed complex technical projects and programs in fast-paced, highly technical environments.
- Systems Thinker: You can break down large, ambiguous initiatives into manageable components and workflows.
- Agile Practitioner: You have deep experience implementing and coaching agile methodologies to drive efficiency and team ownership.
- Data-Driven Leader: You use metrics and KPIs to plan, prioritize, and measure project success.
- Clear Communicator: You excel at simplifying complexity and tailoring communication to diverse audiences - engineers, executives, and stakeholders.
- Proactive Problem Solver: You identify issues early, resolve dependencies, and turn challenges into opportunities.
- 5+ years of experience as a Program Manager, Delivery Manager, or Project Manager in software development.
- Proven experience managing technical projects across engineering teams in SaaS or cloud-based environments.
- Track record of successfully coaching teams on agile principles and improving delivery efficiency.
- Deep expertise with tools like Jira, Confluence, Github, Google Suite.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to define KPIs and derive insights for continuous improvement.
- Experience working in fast-paced
