Product Data Analyst

Your mission We're looking for a top-class Product Data Analyst to join us, driving product performance and user experience enhancements through insightful data analysis. Collaborating closely with product managers, you'll provide data-driven insights to shape feature development and prioritize enhancements. Moreover, you'll work closely with data and analytics engineers to develop and implement data products that inform decision-making processes. ‍ What you’ll be doing - Design and implement event tracking plans to capture user interactions and behavior within the product. - Analyze user data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization. - Design and implement experiments to measure the impact of product changes on key metrics. - Build and maintain dashboards to track product performance and KPIs. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and designers to drive data-informed decision-making. - Work closely with data engineers and analytics engineers to co-create data products - Conduct funnel analysis to understand user flows and identify points of friction. - Measure and analyze user retention rates to identify factors influencing user churn and opportunities for retention improvement. - Translate data insights into actionable recommendations for product improvement and feature development. Our Ideal "Player" - Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Mathematics, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or Computer Science. - Minimum 1-2 years of experience in product analytics or a similar role. - Strong knowledge of probability theory and statistics, including A/B testing. - Strong analytical skills and ability to work with complex data sets. - Familiarity with SQL and relational databases. - Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI. - Basic knowledge of programming languages like Python or R. - Experience with building and interpreting user funnels and retention analysis. - Excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team. **Extra points**: - Experience with event-based analytics tools like Mixpanel or Amplitude. - Experience working with cloud storage such as AWS Redshift, or Google Big Query. - Basic knowledge of dbt, airflow, or other data pipeline tools. - Basic knowledge of predictive modeling (MMM, Forecasting, NN).
