**Sr. Marketing & Product Manager, Specialty Engineered Materials**

Job Summary
The Sr. Marketing & Product Manager has the primary responsibility to create and support the strategic initiatives of the global Specialty Engineered Materials business in order to drive profitable revenue growth.
The individual will manage a team of individuals responsible for profitably managing our focus industries, product lines and pricing. A key aspect of the position is leading pricing strategy and the coordination of new product development within target industries, and contract management in close collaboration with the commercial, technical and operations teams. This individual will lead cross-functional teams to review and act on day to day and strategic business development opportunities within the Europe and India region and will additional engage on global opportunities that include North America and Asia.
The skills required to be successful in this leadership role include, collaboration & influence in a matrixed organization, marketing and strategic planning, team development, pricing and product management, stage gate management, P&L analysis, data management and analysis, marketing communications tools and content development, etc.

Essential Functions
- Directly manage, coach and develop marketing, product management and pricing team members to accomplish outlined goals
- Directly manages the pricing, commercial and promotional aspects of sales growth opportunities, while supporting other team members to do the same
- Collaborates closely with the supply chain team to ensure the highest level of customer service is achieved while meeting working capital goals
- Key contributor to Strategic Plan development, communication and execution.
- Drives and supports profitable revenue growth through regular profitability reviews with cross functional teams
- Follows and tracks cost activity for supply chain drivers in order to proactivity react to needed price changes
- Generates, monitors and improves the effectiveness of sales reporting tools and processes
- Reviews and supports growth opportunities and key projects for the business and articulates customer needs to the management team
- Initiates data improvement activities and ensures proper data and opportunity management within the CRM system, including instant quote activity
- Works closely with sourcing and suppliers to review and drive innovation and improvement actions based on raw material trends
- Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Finance or Technical discipline (e.g., chemistry, (industrial) engineering)
- MBA - preferred
- 5-7 years of relevant job experience with demonstrated leadership, capabilities and impact on results
- Team management experience
