**Summary / Role Purpose**

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**
- Specify and write test cases, creates, modify and update existing tests, write and maintain test scripts.
- Create test plans, participate in defect management and testing metrics.
- Work in a variety of computing environments, including both Windows and Linux operating systems and high-performance computing.
- Assist with validation and verification studies.

**Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience**
- Bachelors in Mechanical, Aerospace or Chemical Engineering or related engineering or scientific field with 2 years of experience, or MS with no experience.

**Preferred Qualifications and Skills**
- Advanced degree in Mechanical, Aerospace or Chemical Engineering or related engineering or scientific field.
- Working knowledge of commercial simulation software, with experience testing Graphics based products.
- Experience in a large-scale commercial software testing and verification environment.
- Strong computing skills, including experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python) and with both Linux and Windows platforms.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and to collaborate with others in a geographically distributed team.
