**Introduction to Role**:
Join us at AstraZeneca's Biopharmaceuticals Business Unit (BBU) where we turn ideas into life-changing medicines. As a Director, you will have the opportunity to reimagine the patient journey and bring it to life. You will focus on the whole patient journey, identifying any pain points for patients and working to solve them. Have the opportunity to make an impact by thinking about how to scale the new ideas on the patient journey in the most appropriate way possible.
**Accountabilities**:
As a Global Sales Excellence Director, you will be responsible for reimagining, identifying, and building future best-in-class capabilities, frameworks, tools, and learning experiences. You will work collaboratively with key EUCAN and International markets, influencing through a cross-matrix environment to drive success of AZ business and key brands. Your priority capabilities are effective omnichannel selling, coaching, and key account management capabilities.
**Essential Skills/Experience**:
- Significant experience of sales and key account management, processes and metrics, plus demonstratable success in leading sales teams through change
- Strong demonstration of managing complexity, agile working, cross-functional working, and effective senior stakeholder engagement
- Ability to communicate, influence and deliver impactful change across all levels of seniority and multiple cultures
- Demonstrated strong track record of success in commercial and capability building roles within sales, coaching and leadership orientation
- Significant experience of commercial leadership roles with strategic, financial and people leadership skills in a cross-functional environment
