The Enterprise Architect plays a crucial role in leading digital transformation initiatives, creating a comprehensive technology strategy, and implementing digital solutions to enhance manufacturing processes and operational efficiency. You will focus on designing an integrated technology ecosystem for manufacturing, supply chain, and logistics using MES, IIoT, ML, and other emerging technologies while also working to lower costs and establish effective data strategies for informed decision-making. Ultimately, the Architect's role is to guide the organization in making sound business, technology, and data decisions that prioritize value for money and risk reduction.

Essential Job Functions:

- Create roadmaps from a business, technology, and data perspective, including ‘as is’, ‘to be’ and transitional states
- Develop architectures diagrams that represent as-is architecture and target architecture, perform gap analysis and migration plans when moving from old systems to new ones
- Maintain EA Tool accurately to identify and document affected business capabilities, business processes, Applications, interfaces, and IT infrastructure components during project initiation phase resulting in faster project preparation and scoping timescales
- Evaluate IT Applications with respect to business criticality, functional and technical fit and maintain such lifecycle data in EA Tool
- Evaluate existing IT systems for exposure or weaknesses that could compromise performance, cyber security, or efficiency
- Review current business capabilities and refine, update, delete or introduce new capabilities based on best practices
- Create data blueprint for collecting, storing, analyzing, and utilizing manufacturing data effectively, including real-time data using AI and other latest technologies
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies like Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), Advanced Analytics, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and evaluate their potential benefits for the organization, proposing and implementing pilots and proof-of-concepts, as necessary

Qualifications & Experience:

- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
- Preferably 10+ years in IT, 5+ in enterprise architecture, with a focus on digital transformation in manufacturing
- Knowledgeable in manufacturing, Industry 4.0, and digital technologies (IIoT, AI, ML)
- Expert in Big Data storage strategies
- Effective in handling multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
