We are seeking an exceptional **Remote Chief Technology Officer **(CTO) to join our client's dynamic startup. As a leading multi-asset liquidity and technology white-label solutions provider for brokerages and exchanges, our well-funded client is revolutionizing the industry with a team of over 100 employees.
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage and coordinate software engineer streams, sub-streams, and QA stream leads.
- Conduct performance reviews for the software engineer stream, sub-stream, and QA stream lead.
- Provide technical validation of system requirements.
- Conduct interviews for software engineer streams, sub-streams, QA stream leads, and QA engineer streams.
- Establish comprehensive and multi-stage testing processes, including manual, automatic, load, chaos, and regression testing.
- Collaborate with the Product Manager to synchronize priorities across the Mobile stream.
- Continuously improve CI/CD practices, tech radar, technological stacks, and protocols/services within the department.
- Take responsibility for the stability of upcoming releases and the overall system stability.
- Facilitate onboarding and offboarding of software engineers, sub-streams, QA stream leads, and QA engineer streams.
- Report regularly to the Operational Committee on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technology leadership role.
- Excellent understanding of API integration with core system backends.
- Proficiency in Kotlin, SwiftUI, unit testing, and automated testing.
- Familiarity with Sentry, Grafana, Docker, TestFlight, CI/CD, and automated development tools for security screening, chaos engineering, and semantic release.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., TOGAF, AWS, Microsoft Azure) are advantageous.
