We are expanding our teams in the Space and Defense sector to take on RAMS tasks in our projects.

**WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?**

In our team you will join as a RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety) engineer, taking part in projects for the European Space Agency among other clients. The projects developed at GMV cover a wide range of areas within the space sector and other critical industries that demand high reliability, high availability, and strict safety requirements.

Examples of projects where GMV’s RAMS engineers are involved include the design and development of navigation systems (Galileo, EGNOS), aeronautical systems, autonomous systems (robotics), satellite control centers, and autonomous driving.

You will be responsible for identifying system weaknesses through a thorough analysis of product specifications and design, spotting bottlenecks, and proposing improvements. Failure Mode Analysis (FMECA), Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), risk analysis, etc., require strong skills in data analysis and characterization.

We are looking for engineers with training and interest in RAMS. We’d like you to have experience in:

- Dependability (Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability)
- Safety Engineering
- Hazard Analysis
- FMECA
- FTA
- MTBF estimation
