**Role & Responsibility**:

- Assisting as a rating analyst in the assignment of DBRS Morningstar ratings of European NPL transactions.
- Support with the review of legal documents related to European NPL transactions (transaction prospectus, hedging documents, due diligence reports, etc.);
- Conduct portfolio credit analysis utilising DBRS Morningstar in rating methodologies;
- Analysis of asset-liability cash flow structures of NPL transactions using DBRS Morningstar built in cash flow engines;
- Support in the writing & publication of press releases, presale/rating reports, commentaries and market research;
- Conduct market research and financial analysis for rating committees, investor meetings and conferences;
- Represent DBRS Morningstar in meetings with market participants and at industry events.
- Comply with all applicable policies and procedures.
**Business Stakeholder Requirements**:

- A Masters, CFA or accounting designation are considered definite assets;
- Understanding of structured finance NPL transactions;
- No related experience is required but any experience in the financial services industry is a plus;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Advanced knowledge and practical skills using rest of Microsoft Office programs;
- Excellent written and oral English language skills;
- Demonstrated analytical abilities, with a high attention to detail and producing high quality work;
- Willingness and ability to learn new analytical approaches proactively, to think creatively, and to work well within a team;
- Permission to live and work in the European Union. This position may require occasional European travel.
**Recommended Action**:

- Knowledge of analytical programming languages (VBA, Python, etc.) is a plus;
- Knowledge of another European language/s is a plus.
