**Duties and responsibilities**:

- Collect data from various sources (databases, APIs, files) and ensure it is clean, structures and ready for analysis
- Use statistical and analytical methods to identify trends, patterns, and correlations in multiple datasets
- Create visualizations such as reports, charts, and dashboards to effectively communicate findings using tools like PowerBI
- Perform ad-hoc analyses specific business questions or support decision-making
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into actionable insights
- Keep up with emerging trends and technologies in data analytics to continuously improve tools and methodologies and train members and stakeholders to effectively use BU tools and interpret visualizations
- This is a hybrid role, and applicants need to reside in either Valencia or Algeciras, ES

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative field, i.e., mathematics, computer science
- Proven 1+ years of experience as data analyst with Python for data manipulation and analysis
- Domain of data warehousing solutions both relational and no-relational DDBB
- Ability to write SQL queries for data extraction and analysis
- Experience with Azure Cloud Solutions and Azure Data Lake Storage
- Experience designing and creating reports with PowerBI
- Knowledge of Kafka and data ingestion from topics
- Familiarity with predictive models and forecasting techniques
- Wide mental outlook and analytical thinking
- Experience working with large datasets or big data platforms is a plus. Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work collaboratively across different departments and with external partners.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written
- Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment, capable of managing changing priorities and new technologies.
- Empathy and understanding of customers need to develop solutions that provide value and improve user experience

**Desirable**
- Prior work in logistics and port operations industries
- Experience with the end-to-end BI project lifecycle, from requirements gathering to delivery
- Experience in agile methodologies and related tools like Jira

**Working conditions**:
Sedentary for prolonged period of time, interact with clients, and travel occasionally.
