Field Technician for Sustain Project

The Barcelona Institute for Global Health (ISGlobal) is a cutting-edge institute addressing global public health challenges through research, translation into policy and education. **WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR**:
ISGlobal is looking for an experienced physiotherapist to work as field technician in the project SUSTAIN-MOBILISE-D project, a 2-y private-public consortium aiming to measure and validate digital mobility outcomes in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease and hip fracture.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Data collection of mobility and clinical data from patients with COPD from four tertiary hospitals in the Barcelona area (Hospital del Mar, Hospital Clínic, Hospital Tries i Pujol, and Hospital de Viladecans).
- Participation in internal research meetings.

**AUXILIAR TASKS**:

**TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Master in Research in Health Sciences.
- Degree in Physiotherapy & Sports Sciences.
- Experience in data collection in clinico-epidemiological research.
- Knowledge/experience with geriatric and/or respiratory patients.
- Knowledge/experience about mobility limitations in the elderly.

**LANGUAGE LEVEL**:

- Proficiency in Catalan, English, and Spanish.

**CONDITIONS**:

- Duration: 16 months
- Starting date: March 2025
- Contract Type: Part time (20 hours a week)
- Salary: Technician II A

**SELECTION PROCESS**:
The selection process is designed in two phases:
1- Interview phase of a technical nature, with the team that requires the incorporation. To assess the person's skills and CV.
2 - Meeting with HR with the finalist(s) to finish assessing the profile and discuss contractual and institutional issues.

If needed any technical test could be passed. A Psychological Competency Evaluation Test will be required for the structural or transversal positions.
