The British School in Madrid, a well-established and respected international school offering the English National Curriculum, is seeking a dedicated and passionate EYFS Teacher to join our Early Years team on a temporary basis. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Plan and deliver engaging, child-centred lessons following the EYFS framework.
- Create a warm, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Support children’s personal, social, and emotional development through play-based learning.
- Use formative assessment to monitor progress and inform next steps.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues to ensure a consistent and supportive learning experience.
- Maintain strong communication with parents and carers regarding children’s development.
- Ensure safeguarding and child protection procedures are followed at all times.
- Contribute to wider school life and early years events as needed.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

- Recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS or equivalent).
- Proven experience teaching in an EYFS setting within the British curriculum.
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in English (native or near-native level).
- A flexible, nurturing, and collaborative approach to teaching.
