**The job**:
XML integrations with clients and providers like channel management systems are being managed by an integration team. While the number of existing integrations is increasing, also the number of integrations under development is increasing. A position is available for a dedicated colleague who will be permanently supporting existing integrations and manage at least 5 new integrations at any given moment.

We document everything in English and you’ll be required to defend your opinions, propose your ideas and manage any aspect in English, although during the day we might speak Spanish.

**Main Responsabilities**:

- Work effectively in a global highly matrix team environment:

- Analyze, coordinate and support new integrations. Ensure the integration follows our blueprint and communicate on issues and possible enhancements with project managers, developers, clients and providers (channel managers). Ensure formal acceptance test of integration is satisfactory.
- Participating in functionality enhancements and continual XML API improvements.
- Maintain and improve our XML API documentation.
- Maintain Integration environment.
- Degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering or equivalent
- At least one year proven experience in a tourism driven IT company, where XML/JSON integrations is the main focus of the business
- Able to demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated, proactive, enthusiastic and committed.
- Excellent time management, planning and organisational skills.
- Extremely skilled in any aspect of JSON and XML (schemas, web services, etc), working knowledge of OTA specification is a plus
- Have experience within agile teams, experience in collaboration with developers and QA.
- Have knowledge of real-time distributed systems, strong technical interest and knowledge.
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Fluent in both English and Spanish, spoken and in writing, working knowledge of German or another language is a plus.
