Cloud Administrator (AWS & FinOps) - Valencia, Remote - 6-Month Contract Our client, an international IT service provider, is seeking a Cloud Administrator to join them as a contractor, with the option to work fully remote or onsite within the charming region of Valencia. Starting at an initial 6-Month contract, multiple extensions are expected and there is great, long-term potential. Responsibilities: Administration and support of Clients’ AWS solutions, with a focus on IaaS and PaaS Work in the deployment and support of cloud platforms and infrastructures Work in close collaboration with the remaining cloud teams in the operational activities, by taking ownership of AWS related technologies Work in close collaboration with other technical teams including Information Security, Development, Service Management, etc Draft technical documentation on the AWS services and related procedures and operations Keep abreast of AWS good practices, new trends and services technologies and evaluate these for possible adoption or incorporation Requirements: Understanding of AWS service structure (organizations, accounts & projects) plus AWS core features Hands-on experience on Infrastructure as Code and Automation (Terraform, Shell scripting, AWS Automation) Knowledge of general architecture, deployment and administration methodologies and techniques including systems configurations, clustering, networking, OS administration (Windows/Linux), monitoring, security, etc Relevant IT experience with significant exposure to AWS services Experience in SQL modeling and queries The consultant will work under the supervision of the Cloud Operations Lead Strong troubleshooting skills If this role is of interest to you, please apply now #LI-AM1
