Join a global market leader in the gambling industry while gaining valuable experience to support a fast-paced, collaborative team.The Technical Compliance Engineer provides technical consulting services to regulators, manufacturers, and Engineering staff. This position is responsible for the review and evaluation of technical matters related to gaming regulatory compliance. The team acts as a technical conduit between the regulators and laboratory testing or the “lab mechanics” that ensures tests are performed correctly, to the regulator’s satisfaction. Our team members can communicate and collaborate with colleagues around the world.Duties & Responsibilities:Provide customer service/support to regulators and suppliersConduct evaluations of submission files, identifying any areas of regulatory concern and provide related determinations. This includes but is not limited to:Handling Incoming Review / Critical modificationsPerforming Outgoing Reviews / Technical EvaluationsPerforming Issues/Bugs EvaluationsDevelopment of Certification Report DisclosuresEvaluate documentation related to submissions/testing and demonstrate a basic level of understanding of gaming product(s)Responsible for maintaining current regulations, jurisdictional profilesMaintains working knowledge of common industry technical standards and minimum internal controls for assigned jurisdictionsMaintains familiarization with GLI Standard Series and Evolution and jurisdictional process changesPerform reviews from a regulatory compliance stance on new verification utilities & proceduresDevelop/maintain internal procedural documentation, coversheets, forms and test scriptsWork with the Engineering groups in various offices on regulatory technical questions and issuesProvide technical training and/or workshops to internal/external customersUse of JIRA to keep track of current projectsProvide support to Development staffHandle Special Projects as needed and assignedExperience, Education, Skills, and Credentials:Fluent in EU Spanish (both written and spoken)Two- or four-year degree in computer science, electrical engineering, computer engineering or equivalent technical backgrounds.Formal training, experience, or demonstrated competency may be evaluated and considered acceptable in lieu of the educational requirementsMust possess good analytical skillsMust have great written and oral communication skills, including a passion for customer serviceMust have the ability to quickly assess issues, find solutions, and analyze the resultsMust have the ability to multi-task and work as part of a teamMust have Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft OfficeMust have a valid Driver’s LicenseWe offer excellent paid benefits that include:25 annual leave daysFlexible holiday planDiscretionary End-year bonusAnnual Performance ReviewsJob related trainings after approval manager and Career Development PlanWeekly fresh fruit, free coffee, tea, and chill-out space at the officeInternational work atmosphere with 30 different nationalities within GLI Europe, GLI UK, GLI Italy, GLI Spain, GLI Africa, GLI AustriaGaming Laboratories International (GLI) is a gaming company.
