Your Role

and Responsibilities As our Project Manager in Spain, you will ensure the successful delivery of complex data center projects from conception through commissioning and handover, meeting technical, financial, and operational goals.

Your responsibilities

include: Project Leadership: Lead all phases of data center projects, including technical due diligence, initial feasibility studies through design, construction, commissioning, and final handover. Ensure flexibility and scalability of design and construction based on emerging technologies. Project Management: Develop and oversee detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery. Project Consultation: Advise the internal leadership team on the project strategy, procurement, and risk management and serving as the primary point of contact throughout the project life cycle.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal and external teams such as Engineering, IT, and Real Estate, as well as architects and contractors to ensure alignment across stakeholders and delivering project milestones seamlessly. Governance & Compliance: Establish and enforce project governance in particular compliance with permitting and local regulations, processes and quality control systems to ensure meeting the technical and safety standards and passing the quality control procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements. Risk & Performance Monitoring: Track project performance through KPIs, manage risks proactively, and provide transparent and timely reporting on progress and financials. Continuous Improvement: Drive process optimization and adopt emerging technologies to enhance project outcomes and efficiency.

Stay updated on industry trends and innovation and proactively support innovation initiatives in the company. What You Bring Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of experience managing large-scale, complex data center or critical infrastructure projects. Language Skills: Fluent in English and Spanish, Portuguese is an asset. Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of MEP systems and large-scale construction practices.

Leadership & Communication: Proven ability to lead diverse teams and manage high-level stakeholders with clear, effective communication. Project Management Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results under tight deadlines as well as expertise in cost analysis, contract negotiation, and risk management. Mobility: Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time for project oversight. Global Perspective: International project experience is a plus.
