NoOffer DescriptionApplications are invited by the UNIVERSITY OF ALICANTE PRESIDENT for an open-ended contractual senior technologist position to collaborate with the funded research line “Management for sustainable aquaculture”.Reference: I-PAS-58/24First. Number of vacancies and features of the job vacancy1.3. Funded line of research: “Management for sustainable aquaculture”.1.4. Working hours: full commitment in morning/afternoon sessions.1.5. Remuneration: €1.361,01 gross/monthly plus two extra payments of the same amount as the monthly remuneration, or a proportional part for periods of less than one year.Second. First project/research group in which the successful applicant will collaborate2.1. Name of the research group: Global change Resilience in Aquaculture – Tools for Long-term Sustainability (GLORiA-TOOLS).2.6. Tasks to be carried out:Development of image acquisition and labelling systems for the production of target fish species datasets.Development of methods based on deep neural networks for species and habitat classification.Development of a prototype for species and habitat classification in realistic environments.Third. Scale to be applied according to the job profile3.1. Official academic qualifications (Up to 2 points): preference will be given to those candidates with an undergraduate degree in Robotic Engineering and Computer Engineering or any other official undergraduate degree with equivalent content (Spanish MECES level 2 or EQF level 6).3.2. Experience (maximum 3 points): performance of tasks and activities, by means of an employment contract, in any field or administrative relationship, excluding teaching activities, will be assessed at the rate of 1 point per full year, or a proportional part per full month for periods of less than a year, related to the tasks described in section second.3.3. Additional education (maximum 3 points). Qualifications related to the tasks described in section second will be considered:Computer Vision Techniques, Machine Learning and Deep Neural Networks.Tools and languages: Python; C and C++; Visual Studio; Matlab.3.4. Knowledge of English (maximum 1 point): Only levels higher than the one required in section four of the call for applications will be assessed.3.5. Academic curriculum vitae: maximum 5 points. Academic achievements related to tasks described in section second will be considered.Fourth. Requirements for applicants.Compliance with the requirements listed below must always refer to the date of expiry of the deadline for the submission of applications and must be maintained until the date of entering into the contract.4.1. Hold or be in the process of obtaining a 1st-cycle undergraduate degree, an engineering technology degree, an architectural technology degree or equivalent.4.2. Have Spanish nationality or be in one of the situations listed in article 57 of Royal Legislative Decree 5/2015.4.3. Have a good command of any of the official languages of the Valencia Region for the performance of the job.4.4. Be at least 16 years of age and not be over the maximum age for compulsory retirement.4.5. Possess the physical and mental capacities necessary for the performance of the relevant duties and tasks.4.6.
