Then this job is for youVestas Mediterranean (MED) is an independent Sales Business Unit (SBU) within Vestas Wind Systems A/S, covering markets in the Mediterranean region, the Middle East, and Africa. Vestas MED is responsible for developing these markets in terms of sales, project installation, and customer service. Iberia is a cluster part of the MED region.The Customer Project Execution department is in charge of the construction of wind projects (EPC) and installation and commissioning of the wind turbines (supply & installation) under contracts sold by the sales department.ResponsibilitiesThe mission of the job is to support and coordinate the execution of specified Wind Farm Projects (EPC or Supply and Installation) within the constraints of time, cost, quality, and safety against contractual obligations. Key areas of focus include:Execution (planning, tracking, and reporting)Contracts management and implementationResource planning and managementSite liaisonClient relationship development and leadingContractor / sub contractor managementActive risk managementThey will also be involved in tendering processes related to subcontractors pricing, technical analysis, and sales support. Reporting to the Customer Project Execution Director and supporting the Project Manager, the profile is expected to fulfill:Main ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and supervise safety and environmental compliance across projects, from awareness to auditsCoordinate project communications, meetings, and negotiations to maintain solid customer relationships and satisfactionEnsure project goals for profitability, cash flow, and timelines are metDevelop and monitor project timelines, implementing action and recovery plans as neededProvide transparent and accurate reporting on project progress and financial performanceAim for on-time or early project completion to maximize customer satisfaction and financial outcomesEstablish a project execution strategy aligned with contract goals to achieve performance targetsPromote continuous improvement by suggesting new methods and toolsEnsure effective internal and external project communicationImplement Vestas' project coordination and installation proceduresContribute to procurement strategy, supplier selection, and subcontract compliance with project and contract expectationsSupport tendering with bid management, including pre-calculations, risk assessments, and site organizationQualificationsAt least 3 years of experience in construction/engineering, preferably acquired in the wind industry or in the energy sectorOwner of an Engineering degreeExperience in installation and contracts; experience with export and international will be beneficialFinancial and contract management skillsStrong proficiency in spoken and written Spanish and English; other languages as French, Portuguese, or Romanian would be an additional advantageCompetenciesTeam player with a multicultural and open mindsetAble to identify and relate to internal and external stakeholders with a drive for results & quality and customer focusNegotiation & influencing skills with significant organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skillsEnhanced communication skills with a hands-on approach, customer orientation, and proven ability to work cross-functionally as well as externally with customers and consultantsComputer literate (MS Office); Primavera and SAP would be highly desirableNational and international mobilityWhat We OfferWe offer an exciting job in a dynamic, international environment.
