Job Description:
An opportunity for a Production Scheduler has arisen within Airbus Operations, Illescas.

Mission & Responsibilities:

- Prepares feasible production schedule scenarios for assembly and in-house parts and associated materials for the weekly MPS routines.
- He/She takes into account customer need dates, actual production schedule, production status, backlog, outstanding work and available capacity (manpower, machine, material) and any technical & quality topics to be consistent with Master Production Schedule process.
- Coordinate & monitor Logistics activities.
- Manage & prevent logistics disruptions.
- Manage Logistics means.
- Manages work orders according production scheduling, weekly MPS decision and supports the Production Pace Control (PPC) for Assembly and In House Part. (Dates, Execution station, Extended workbench, …).
- Based on daily work orders to be achieved, he/she ensures the availability of the parts at the point of use (work order, pull flow, missing part, parasitic flow and outstanding work Management) and keeps alignment between the IT system and reality.
- He/She ensures the parts availability for the short term plan & manages closing of work orders (components consumption) to enable quality conformity of the work order.
- He/she checks MRP results and manages work order (from Plan Order to WO Release).

Main activities:

- Analyse the production status.
- Control resource capacity (manpower: operators & white collars, machine, material).
- Elaborate Production Schedule, and recovery plan if necessary, with impacts on capacity requirements (workforce/ machines/strategic tooling/jigs), delivery dates, end production buffer, production partners.
- Implement the validated Production Schedule decided in the weekly MPS routines into production system.
- Check Work Production schedule or MRP parameters, results and messages.
- Update IT official planning and scheduling tool with dedicated stakeholder.
- Escalate issues impacting Logistics and/or Production activities.
- Design and implementation of the optimized distribution solutions.
- Ensure the appropriate use and monitor inventory of specific logistics means.
- Manage specific & standard Logistics means loop for his/her internal & external perimeter.
- Attend daily Production monitoring meeting: report on production progress, Report parts availability, Give support to adjust daily priorities.
- Management of Work Order: WO from releasing to closing, Pull flow.
Management of Components including missing parts and logistics distribution: Potential availability, Transfer Protocol and unexpected Missing Part.
- Parasitic flow coordination with other department: non conformity, Over delivery, Good issue error, Loss of parts, Rob-on/ cannibalization.
- Coordination of outstanding works: Manage outstanding Logistics flows, Manage Work Order internal/external transfer of responsibility.

Languages required:

- Spanish native/fluent.
- English advanced.

Other skills required:
APC Jaguar and SAP/MES knowledge will be desirable.
