You will play an active role in building quick prototypes or proofs of concept in partnership with other technology leaders within the team. You will tackle challenging, novel situations every day and have the opportunity to work with multiple technical teams at Amazon. Along the way, you’ll learn a lot, have fun and make a positive impact on millions of people.We are seeking an experienced Front End Engineer who is proficient at a variety of skills, to enable a ‘first of its kind’ next generation AI application. This is a green field project and you will be the first front end engineer hired. As such you will have the opportunity to influence the technology choices, frameworks and methodologies used.Key job responsibilitiesCollaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather and comprehend project requirements.Translate business and functional requirements into concrete deliverables and build quick prototypes or proofs of concept in partnership with other technology leaders within the team.You will work closely with Product Managers, Engineers and Applied Scientists.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS1+ years of agile software development methodology experienceExperience with common front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JS, TypeScript, and NodePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market.
