At AEVI, we’re searching for a talented Android Developer to be a part of our dynamic team. You'll have the opportunity to work with diverse Android devices from multiple manufacturers and play a key role in the development and enhancement of our Mobile Device Management (MDM) solution. As an Android Developer, your primary responsibility will be to maintain and evolve our device-agnostic API, bridging AEVI software with device-specific APIs to deliver powerful and flexible solutions.Relevant skills: Android | Java | Kotlin | Gradle | AOSPWhat you'll be doing:Integrate Manufacturer SDKs: Evaluate and incorporate various manufacturers’ SDKs into our software ecosystem.Android MDM Development: Collaborate on the ongoing development of our Mobile Device Management solution, enhancing device security and manageability.Feature Innovation: Work cross-functionally to define, design, and deploy new features that push the boundaries of what Android solutions can achieve.API and Data Handling: Engage with external data sources and APIs to enrich app functionality and provide seamless user experiences.Quality and Robustness: Ensure code quality through comprehensive unit testing, covering edge cases, usability, and reliability.Performance Optimization: Fix bugs and continually improve app performance to exceed customer expectations.Effort Estimation: Assess the development effort and provide accurate time estimates for tasks and deliverables.Requirements Analysis: Analyze product requirements and explore additional or alternative business needs to find the best solutions.Ad Hoc Tasks: Take on occasional ad hoc duties assigned through the management chain as required.Skills, qualifications and experience:Proven experience in Android application development, with an in-depth understanding of Android internals.Expertise in low-level Android development (such as AOSP development, JNI, or services and content providers).Up-to-date knowledge of the latest Android SDK and associated libraries.Hands-on experience working with REST APIs and JSON data structures.Familiarity with Android MDM APIs and EMM provisioning techniques.Experience developing SDKs/libraries, including creating comprehensive documentation.Proficiency in cloud services, particularly AWS, and the deployment of Android applications in cloud environments.Why not check us out on Glassdoor and hear for yourself what it's like to be an AEVIatorLife at AeviBeing part of Aevi?
