Technical Responsible for Space Avionics (FPGA, SoC, HW Digital) GMV – Tres Cantos, Community of Madrid, Spain Overview We are expanding our teams in the Space sector to take on technical leadership projects within the Flight Segment and Robotics (FSR) business unit, reinforcing the Space Avionics and Equipment team. Responsibilities Lead and oversee digital hardware design, FPGA development, embedded SoC technologies and avionics space segment. Develop pioneering on-board technologies for upcoming European Space Agency and commercial customer missions. Apply state-of-the-art data and image processing techniques in the space segment. Work closely with key customers, participate in critical meetings and reviews. Support and supervise subcontractors and manufacturing activities, ensuring efficient collaboration and top-quality results. Contribute to a young, motivated, multicultural and international team advancing cutting-edge technologies. Qualifications Electrical engineer, telecommunications engineer or a similar field with experience and interest in digital hardware design, FPGA, embedded SoC technologies and space avionics. Experience with team coordination of technical activities, critical review of technical deliverables and task management. Knowledge of CCSDS and ECSS standards, procedures and manuals (nice to have).
