Databricks Platform Engineer
This job involves working in a consulting role for a large insurance company from The Netherlands. The position is primarily remote, allowing you to live anywhere in Spain. You will work on a permanent Spanish contract, with occasional meetings in Madrid or Malaga for social events or training.
What you will do- Manage and innovate the Databricks Unity Catalog and Collibra Data platforms used across the company within the focus area of Data Governance.
- Facilitate the use of these platforms by providing support and maintaining communication with data engineers and other technical stakeholders, enabling them to create innovative data solutions and products with our Data Governance solutions.
- Carry out Operations & Service Delivery, including Change Management, Configuration Management, Life-cycle Management (LCM), and resolving complex incidents and problems.
- Ensure Security and Compliance are maintained according to company policies and procedures.
- Proactively enhance infrastructure availability and stability, including monitoring, reliability management tasks, and developing/deploying automations through CI/CD pipelines on Azure Cloud.
- You have a bachelor's or master's degree and a strong analytical mindset.
- At least 3 years of experience in IT and change projects.
- Basic knowledge of Data Management and Data Engineering.
- Experience with Databricks Unity Catalog and Collibra Data platforms.
- Knowledge of Azure Cloud infrastructure, systems, and tools.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, especially setting up pipelines.
- Good command of spoken and written English.
- Proven problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent work-life balance with mostly remote work across Spain.

- Annual salary of €62,000.
