This role requires a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of DevOps principles and Azure technologies. Operating at a global level, the role will involve coordinating Product development teams using the Azure platform.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESDevOps Strategy Development: Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and refine the organization's DevOps strategy, defining goals, objectives, and success metrics. Assess the current state of DevOps practices and identify areas for improvement.Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps Services or Azure DevOps Server. Define build and release processes, automate testing, and deploy applications to Azure environments.Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Automate infrastructure using tools like Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Terraform, or Azure DevTest Labs. Define infrastructure configurations as code for automated provisioning and management of Azure resources.Monitoring and Logging: Utilize Azure monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor, Azure Log Analytics, and Azure Application Insights. Set up monitoring solutions to track the performance, availability, and health of Azure resources and applications.Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices for Azure environments, including IAM, network security, encryption, and compliance standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, and SOC. Ensure that DevOps processes and infrastructure are designed and implemented with security in mind (DevSecOps).Scripting and Automation: Proficient in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash for automating tasks and managing Azure resources programmatically. Write scripts to automate deployment, configuration, and maintenance tasks.REQUIREMENTSProven experience and strong proficiency as an Azure DevOps lead in a multi-products multinational environment.Familiarity with Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Container Instances, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, and other Azure services used in DevOps workflows.Excellent problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Continuous learning and improvement.Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.NICE TO HAVESCertification in Azure DevOps or related technologies.Familiarity with additional scripting languages or automation tools.Experience with Agile methodologies.Required skillsAzure (Microsoft Azure) (7 - 9 yrs)Azure DevOps (4 - 6 yrs)Kubernetes (4 - 6 yrs)Terraform (4 - 6 yrs)Datadog (4 - 6 yrs)Optional skillsGrafana (2 - 3 yrs)Must-Haves:Azure, Azure DevOps or Github action, Datadog or Grafana, Terraform, Kubernetes and Bash scripting.Main job time zone: Spain CET (Central European time)Time zone overlap requirements:OVERLAP 8-hour overlap with Spain CET (Central European time)Location Requirements:SpainYou'll be required to travel to the Madrid office at least twice a year.
