Field Service Engineer

The Field Service Engineer provides on-site service including preventative maintenance, calibration, installation, and training across all product lines. The position is also responsible for providing scientific and/or technical assistance to customers as well as identifying and forwarding sales opportunities. Responsibilities: Providing technical support to customers via telephone and email. Performing on-site troubleshooting, service and repairsin assigned area (northeast) Evaluating malfunctioning instruments and preparing estimates for the cost of repair. Performing factory calibrations (ISO 17025, if required). Providing on-site training to the customerson proper use and maintenance of Anton Paar Instruments. Completing administrative tasks associated with the CRM Service module as to log all Support Ticket and Service Orders in the CRM Service. Taking responsibility for personal warehouse / stock. Forwarding sales opportunities to Sales Representatives when instruments need to be replaced. Attending all necessary Anton Paar service trainings for the relevant product lines. This position requires up to70% overnight travel within Spain. Your profile: 0-2years experience in troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining analytical instruments. This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Electric or Mechanical Engineering or another technical discipline. Ability to work with electronic schematics, test equipment, and repair tools. Good communication skills and strong customer service skills are a must for this position. Ability to work independently and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction. Proactive, responsible and organized behaviour. Must maintain a valid driver's license and passport .
