We are currently looking for an R&D PROJECT LEADER for our plant located in Sant Vicenç dels Horts (Barcelona). Your main objective will be to lead the development of a delivery system for a medical device, from 2D/3D prototype design to the management of prototype manufacturing, coordination of bench testing, analysis of results and report writing, leading the device verification phase, and preparing the necessary documentation for submission to regulatory authorities. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Prepare the technical planning for assigned projects, applying the methodology implemented in the company.In collaboration with the department head, prepare project budgets and define the technical and human resources to achieve the technical and economic objectives.Ensure the feasibility and technical quality of the solutions proposed.Coordinate and implement the production process for the products developed.Research and develop improvements in the technical characteristics, quality, and costs of products.Define purchasing specifications and approve suppliers from the initial stage until the product is transferred to the factory, sending guidelines for subsequent procurement. DESIRED PROFILE:Industrial Engineering, especially in the mechanical, electromechanical, materials, biomedical fields or a similar one.High level of English and Spanish.Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position.Previous experience working in an R&D department. Previous experience working with CAD systems (especially Solidworks and Rhinoceros) and Ansys.High capacity for multidisciplinary work, analytical capacity, integrity, cooperative spirit, communication skills.
