We are currently seeking a Digital Transformation Director to lead our Digital Transformation division. This role is based in our Madrid offices. Are you ready to join the team? Role Responsibilities: Lead the Digital Transformation B.U. to achieve agree-upon annual profit targets. Prepare annual B.U. budgets and ensure the fulfillment of yearly objectives. Report to the Managing Director and foster cross-functional synergies with other business units. Lead commercial initiatives to reach established contracting targets. Identify and develop new business opportunities. Manage relationships with clients and suppliers. Supervise business unit projects for both external clients and internal IDEA initiatives. Lead the continuous development of the Digital Twin, adapting it to evolving client needs. Manage “configuration control” for each DT-proposal and DT-client pairing. Establish a system for the update, control and management of documentation, particularly regarding the technology inherent in the business unit’s products/services. Ensure ISO 9001 compliance, adhering to the standards and procedures defined in the Quality Manual for design and development activities. Propose the DT technology strategy to the ITC, aligning it with IDEA’s technology strategy and within that strategy, the new R&D&I projects for this B.U. Define criteria, requirement and performance specifications for new products/services, as well as proposing the acquisition of technology or its internal development. Lead and supervise R&D&I projects for both internal and external clients, and for IDEA, or collaborate with those from other B.U.s when they are the ones leading. In all cases, they are responsible for managing R&D&I project grants and the associated tax reliefs. Promote innovation across IDEA’s assets. Direct and manage the DT team. Promote ongoing professional development in digital tools and methodologies for the team. Contribute to the establishment of strategic alliances for IDEA by negotiating technology agreements. Develop and maintain external technology collaboration networks. Job requirements: Degree in Computer Engineering or a related field. Knowledge of database systems. At least 5 years of experience in similar roles. Advanced level of English (C1). Commercial experience. Strong proactivity in staying up to date with the latest technological trend.
