Your mission As a Senior Product Designer on the design system team, you will be fundamental in enabling product teams to consistently build premium experiences at scale. What you’ll do Co‑Own our Design System: Contribute to growth and consistency of Bitpanda’s DS by designing patterns, components, tokens, managing libraries, and creating clear, accessible documentation. Lead End‑to‑End DS Initiatives: Own DS projects from start to finish, aligning with engineering and product requirements, enabling collaboration and exploration, and leading solutions for all user scenarios. Collaborate Cross‑Functionally: Work closely with designers, product managers, engineers and stakeholders to translate accessibility, business and user needs into simple, intuitive solutions at scale. Evolve DS Operations: Grow and improve internal processes, frameworks and tooling for more efficient development and use of our design system. Mentor and Advocate: Support peers, give feedback and guidance on design systems, foster a mindset that prioritises scalability and coherence, and promote DS value and adoption across teams. Who you are 5+ years of experience collaborating with product and engineering on a design system team, or with cross‑functional stakeholders. Expert design‑system skills, including technical knowledge and a strategic understanding that drives product quality and cohesion. Generalist UX design skills with strong UI and visual abilities, able to execute high quality work quickly while leading projects autonomously. State‑of‑the‑art workflow with industry‑standard tools such as Figma, Miro and JIRA, plus experience contributing to design systems. Excellent command of spoken and written English.
