We establish identity through high-performance enrolment, verification and authentication by enabling multi-directional data transactions and creating actionable intelligence.We have delivered over 5,000 identity enrolment solutions in every continent across the globe, enabling access to robust identity schemes and the use of automated systems for hundreds of millions of citizens and passengers every year.As a Legal Counsel, what are you going to do?You will have a passion for drafting and negotiating agreements with Vision-Box’s business partners. In deals, you know how to balance between commercial and legal stakes, as well as identify and clearly communicate any legal risks;You will be working within a team of lawyers, driven by a need to make the complex simple and with legal judgement and business mindset. You will also be part of internal legal related projects;The role will involve daily exposure to internal customers and sometimes to external partners, as well as to Vision-Box’s management. You will work very closely with Vision-Box’s teams around the world;Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting, negotiating and interpreting a wide variety of commercial issues and technology contracts agreements with Vision-Box’s partners and customers, varying in nature, complexity and value, and work on all phases of deals, ranging from the proposal/bid review stages, right through to final negotiation, escalation to senior leadership and dealing with any post signature issues, claims and litigation;Other responsibilities include assessing legal risks and providing general advice to the business. You will work closely with the sales, delivery and operate teams and support them in the bidding processes and commercial negotiations;You will be expected to understand fast evolving technology as applied to Vision-Box's business and its legal framework and take appropriate legal steps.What are the skills and professional experience we’re expecting from you?University Degree in Law, Legal Qualification to practice as a lawyer;Ability to give concise and to-the-point legal advice, proactive and results driven;Motivated and enthusiastic team player with strong analytical, issue-spotting and investigatory skills;Professional with 4 to 6 years of post-qualification experience, in private practice or in-house position in a multinational corporation;You are required to be critical, creative and to have a strategic mindset to find the best solution in a risk aware manner; to understand the business’ objectives and priorities, as well as the legal, regulatory and political framework of the industry sector;You should be keen to explore new legal technology and how this can improve the way we work. You are able to handle a large volume of rapidly changing priorities in a dynamic working environment;Good written and oral communication skills in English (legal English).
