NoOffer DescriptionApplications are invited by the University of Alicante President for an open-ended contractual position as an assistant technologist to collaborate with the funded research line “Emotionally aware education based on artificial intelligence”.Project CIPROM/2021/017 funded by the Valencia Region Government’s Department of Education, Culture, Universities and EmploymentWithin the framework of the Prometeo Programme for research groups of excellence, the University of Alicante calls for applications to cover a job position in accordance with the following terms and conditions:First. Number of vacancies and features of the job vacancyNumber of job vacancies: one.Job position: assistant technologist.Funded line of research: “Emotionally aware education based on artificial intelligence”.Working hours: part-time position, 30 hours/week in morning/afternoon sessions.Remuneration: €1,008.93 gross/monthly plus two extra payments of the same amount as the monthly remuneration.Second. First project in which the successful applicant will collaborateName of the project: “MEEBAI: A Methodology for Emotion-Aware Education Based on Artificial Intelligence”.At the end of the duration of this first project or its budgetary availability, the successful applicant may join other projects belonging to the same line of research funded.Tasks to be carried out:Development of a gamification system in educational environments for robotics learning.Programming with Robot Operating System software.Third. Application assessment criteriaOfficial academic qualifications: Technical degree in Microcomputer Systems and Networks, advanced technical degree in Web Applications Development, or equivalent.Experience: Performance of tasks and activities in related fields will be assessed.Additional education: Qualifications related to the tasks described will be considered.Fourth. Requirements for applicants:Hold a technical diploma or equivalent.Have Spanish nationality or be in one of the situations listed in article 57 of Royal Legislative Decree 5/2015.Have a good command of any of the official languages of the Valencia Region.Be at least 16 years of age and not over the maximum age for compulsory retirement.Possess the necessary physical and mental capacities for the performance of the relevant duties.Not be disqualified by final judgement or as a result of disciplinary reasons.Full terms and conditions of this call can be found at the following link (IN SPANISH).
