Senior Researcher – Biomaterials for Regenerative Therapies (Sr_Ee) The Biomaterials for Regenerative Therapies Group at the Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia (IBEC) seeks a Senior Researcher to lead a project on developing novel extracellular matrix–based scaffolds for tissue engineering. Main Responsibilities Design, fabricate, and characterize biomaterials. Perform biological assays in vitro and in vivo. Establish primary cultures. Develop 3D tissue models. Qualifications Ph.D. in regeneration with a focus on angiogenesis and extracellular matrices, plus postdoctoral experience. At least six years since the doctoral thesis defense (first doctorate if multiple). Demonstrated scientific‑technological activity: published articles, books, patents, and technology transfer contributions. Other curricular merits: doctoral thesis supervision, awards, and dissemination activities. Multidisciplinary background (Biomedical engineering/Biotechnology) and knowledge of regenerative matrices (plus). High level of English. Desired Skills Communication, teamwork, commitment, proactivity, integrity, critical and analytical thinking. Experience in technology transfer (advantageous). Offer Number of positions: 1. Starting date: 1 December. Full‑time, permanent position.
