One of our unique capabilities is the ability to operationalize the use of predictive AI models in real-time without a big data science staff.We’re backed by both industry and software investor firms like NewVale Capital, Atlantic Bridge, Danaher, Honeywell, CrossLink, and UnCork, with solid industry and technology expertise.Our mission is to improve global health by optimizing how medicines are manufactured so that pharma and biotech companies can provide patients worldwide with the right medicine at the right time and price.Join us if you are motivated to directly impact our company's success and growth path forward and, more importantly, by positively contributing to the life science industry and deserving patients worldwide.The PositionAs a Release Manager, you will be an integral part of our dynamic Engineering team, reporting directly to the VP of Engineering.ResponsibilitiesHelp control the flow of the Software Release.Coordinate, communicate, and trace all flow to ensure that Software Releases are delivered on time, with all relevant engineering/testing/compliance work completed by multidisciplinary teams.Program to automate parts of the process.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate the planning, scheduling, and execution of software releases, ensuring alignment with project timelines and business objectives.Work closely with the Quality Assurance and Regulatory teams to ensure that all software releases adhere to ISO 9001, ISO 27001, GxP, and GMP standards, maintaining the highest levels of quality and compliance.Assist in maintaining comprehensive release documentation, including release notes, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and version control records.Participate in risk assessment activities related to software releases, identifying potential risks and proposing mitigation strategies to ensure the integrity of the released software.Act as a liaison between development, quality assurance, and operations teams, communicating release timelines, changes, and dependencies effectively to all stakeholders.Contribute to the improvement of release management processes by identifying opportunities for efficiency gains, automation, and enhanced collaboration across teams.Knowledge and ExperienceEducational Background: Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Documentation Skills: Proficient in creating and maintaining release documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.Nice to have:Understanding of Pharma Standards: Familiarity with GxP and GMP regulations in the pharmaceutical industry, and a keen interest in applying this knowledge to software release management.ISO Certification Knowledge: Basic understanding of ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 standards, with an ability to integrate these principles into release management processes.Regulatory Compliance: Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements related to pharmaceutical software development and release.SkillsDocumenting ProcessesCommunication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey release-related information to diverse stakeholders.Detail-Oriented: A meticulous approach to work with a keen eye for detail, ensuring that releases meet the highest quality and compliance standards.Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment, fostering positive relationships with team members and stakeholders.Problem-Solving: Effective problem-solving skills, with an ability to think critically and propose practical solutions to challenges in the release management process.Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and project requirements in a fast-paced pharmaceutical software development environment.What We OfferUnique opportunity to join our company as it scales with great market traction and huge potential to continue growing.Competitive salary in the sector and scheduled performance/salary reviews.Stock Options.Private Medical & Dental Insurance.Internal Training & Certifications.Professional development and collaborative environment.Flexible schedule & Intensive Fridays.Flexible Remuneration Options.Language Training Courses.Monthly Team Building Activities.We are committed to providing an inclusive environment where all employees feel mutual respect and are contributing to the good of society.
