OverviewSICIM is a Construction Company established in 1962 offering all types of services related to the installation of pipelines and relevant ancillary facilities for the transmission and distribution of oil, gas and water on an international basis.ResponsibilitiesInterface with Subcontractor Discipline Leaders and Client Lead Engineers, including attending project meetingsControl Subcontractor’s activities and resourcesReview and control civil and structural deliverables including drawings and calculation reportsCollection of the data necessary for the design from the other disciplines by means of site surveys where neededCoordinate with site engineers and construction managers to solve issues on sitePrepare Material Requisitions and Technical Bid EvaluationsEnsure the respect of deadlines and follow the project schedulePrepare and issue civil and structural discipline specifications and standard drawingsPrepare Subcontractors’ Scope of Work, MTOs and Method StatementsCoordinate with internal engineers, designers and drafters to ensure the correct preparation of engineering deliverablesPrepare Geotechnical and Topographical Survey Scope of Works and review Survey ReportsIf necessary, prepare and issue construction drawings and calculation reports with the use of CAD and FEM softwarePrepare reports for Project Engineering Manager consolidating progress and highlighting areas of concernVendor Follow-up and review of Vendor documentationManage Design Changes and Technical Queries, both internally and with clientVerify comments on documents returned from client, identify cost and schedule impactPrepare As-Built documents and evaluate impact of changesReview and check the design in 3D Engineering EnvironmentQualificationsA master’s degree or equivalent in Civil/Structural/Geotechnical Engineering from an accredited university with a minimum of ten (7) years relevant experience in the oil & gas industry, with a minimum (five) 5 years as Civil and Structural PSL for Oil and Gas projectsExperience as a Civil and Structural on oil/gas and petrochemical capital / EPC projectsDemonstrated experience of design and engineering of oil and gas production facilities and familiarity with the latest engineering methods, practices and tools, including Quality and HSE implementation practices, and environmental engineering aspectsFluent in English with strong written and oral communication skillsAbility to use CAD and FEM software (AutoCAD, STAAD.PRO, SAP2000)Other informationWork Location: SICIM S.p.A. - Milano office, Via Enrico Caviglia, 11, 20139 Milano MI - ItaliaClose the Metro \"yellow\" Corvetto and train station Rogoredo #J-18808-Ljbffr
