The headquarters gathers approximately 1000 employees and is distinguished by its strong international culture (45 nationalities), which makes it a rich and stimulating place to work.Within the Group, you will join the Group Underwriting department, whose responsibility is to optimize the technical performance of AXA’s product offering while ensuring technical risks are well understood and under control.Within this Department, you will be part of the team Individual Life and Inforce Life Saving team, in charge of driving Inforce and Individual Life&Saving technical excellence at Group Level.Your job and daily missions:JOB PURPOSEContribute to the evaluation of the technical performance of Life and Saving product range around the world, drive product technical excellence at Group level and help operational companies implement product-related initiativesKEY CAPABILITIESAbility to work transversally in a large organisation and align multiple stakeholders at all levelsHighly self-motivated with a good level of autonomy and ability to effectively prioritiseAbility to effectively convey complex issues into clear and easy-to-understand oral or written presentations in perfect EnglishAbility to relate technical metrics to commercial objectives and communicate these objectives effectively to a diverse range of stakeholders including Group senior management.Comfortable with complexity and unstructured problem solvingKEY ACCOUNTABILITIESParticipate to the evaluation of the technical performance of L&S product rangeParticipate to the In-Depth Reviews of AXA subsidiaries’ L&S product ranges (unit linked, general accounts, pure protection products). Key objectives are assessment of the quality of new business, identification of technical issues and comparison to Group standards, as well as monitoring the implementation of associated action plans, using written, oral, and interpersonal techniques depending on the situation.Participate to the Product Reviews of AXA subsidiaries’ L&S products, focussing on the financial assessment of these products using industry and AXA specific metrics, especially IFRS17, and Solvency II-type measures, as well as broader product development assessments.At Group level, provide technical support in the definition of the AXA Group strategy, ensure relevance of the financial KPIs at product level, and support appropriate monitoring of financial and actuarial metricsHelp AXA’s subsidiaries resolve local technical issues (commercial, product, actuarial or risk management) and implement remedial actionsProvide technical support to AXA’s subsidiaries on local technical issues where headquarters assistance brings added valueActively contribute to expert working groups across entities, and ensure best practice sharing and knowledge management in relation to L&S products and pricingHelp driving product technical excellence at Group levelContribute to the development and maintenance of the standards and guidelines relating to L&S product design, product management and pricing, and their implementation in entitiesProvide benchmarks for technical excellence in the form of advice, guidance notes, tools and training in actuarial and product subject areasContribute Expert Group communitiesContribute actively to the expert Group communities involving operational entities and Corporate center teams. Identify and disseminate best practices across operational entities and provide systematic group support via benchmarks, advice, guidance notes, tools and trainingProfilMAIN COMPETENCIES AND EXPERIENCESBackground:At least 5 years of experience within life, savings and investments products as an actuary, preferably including experience in more than one countryTechnical skills:Knowledge of life, savings and investment products design, management and pricing methodologies and toolsUnderstanding of life, savings and investment product valuation and solvency principlesIFRS and financial reporting knowledge desirableKEY RELATIONSHIPS IN AXA GROUPLocal Heads of Life, Actuarial Function Holders, Chief Risk Officers and L&S technical specialists in local subsidiaries 93/100 3 slide 1 to 2 of 4
