The team works with large corporates to offer TS solutions for the Bank: Payments & Cash Management (PCM), Liquidity Solutions/Bank Mendes Gans (BMG) and Trade (Trade Finance & Working Capital Solutions).Role and environment information is provided in the long original posting and includes collaboration with the Local head of Transaction Services, local product management, and central TS teams in Amsterdam.Your Role and Work EnvironmentWe are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Senior VP-Transaction Services Sales Cash Consultant Iberia with a strong background in payments and treasury to join the ING TS team for Iberia (Spain & Portugal).Your Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Transaction Services Sales Cash Consultant Iberia, you will be responsible for growing the Daily Banking business and increasing profitability through origination of new TS mandates within the Wholesale Banking client portfolio in Spain and Portugal. You will own and manage prospect deals from initiation to mandate signing and sell the full suite of Cash solutions (PCM and Liquidity management/BMG) across the network.Additionally, the role includes the following:Positively contribute to origination and business development: generate new TS share of wallet deals with existing and new clients across sectors, locally and via ING’s networkDeliver on revenue targets and client profitability within ING’s risk frameworkCollaborate with Local head of Transaction Services to define business strategy and commercial plan for Cash solutions in IberiaCollaborate with Local product management to set priorities for new product developments or enhancements and develop business casesResponsibilities and ActivitiesPositively contribute to Origination and Business developmentCapture new TS opportunities with clients locally and through ING’s networkMeet revenue and profitability targets within risk frameworkContribute to strategy and commercial planning for Cash solutions in IberiaCoordinate with Local product management on prioritising developments and building business casesEnsure Transaction ExecutionManage sizeable and complex cash mandates end-to-end from pre-lead, pitching, proposal to implementationNegotiate TS solutions and pricing with clients, balancing client expectations, cost of sales and riskCoordinate with TS Cash Advisory & Structuring Central team in Amsterdam for structuring and executionMonitor implementations to ensure timely and accurate delivery of solutions and proper commercial documentationCustomer Relationship ManagementImprove cross-buy of TS solutionsAct as trusted advisor to prospects and clients, working with Bankers, TS Sales, Advisory & Structuring, Operations, Legal, Risk, and othersReview client operations to maintain contracts and identify risks/opportunitiesMonitor daily banking services and provide proactive advice to enhance client experience and cross-sellPerform client profitability analysis to assess business trendsRisk & Portfolio ManagementMonitor portfolio in coordination with risk managementWork under KYC guidelinesKnowledge ManagementContribute to innovation and development of PCM product catalogAttend client events to position ING TS value proposition and stay informed on key trendsMaintain high knowledge of industry and TS products, with focus on Cash productsWhat are we looking for?These are some of the qualities valued for this role.
