You as a SAP application consultant FICO at Marel will be invaluable to our extensive growth and our focus of lowering our ecological footprint.Because of your solutions, the business is optimized and supported in its daily operations.To be successful in this role, you are an experienced finance consultant and like the international character of the job.Besides a healthy interest in finance, you have a keen interest in other competences within the SAP area like SAP HR, LSMW, analytics, Sales and Services.Your daily to-do list will look a lot like this:Gather business needs and requirements and translating these business requirements into functional design.Develop, test, document, deliver and optimize SAP applications.Demonstrate, provide training, and guide testing activities and transfer to community.In case of cross-application processes, you’ll work together with other Application Specialists to find and create the best solutions.What you'll be doing:Marel is working hard to optimize its global corporate IT and IT processes. One of the largest projects we’re working on is the global roll out and implementation of SAP S/4 HANA.You’ll be working together with a team of finance professionals to align and implement SAP finance and controlling globally.Because of the international character of the role, it’ll be preferable that you have go-live experience as well as knowledge about tax rules and regulations.Experience with Vertex or Meridian is a big advantage.You’re gathering financial business information and translating requirements/processes into IT Solutions, which will support and optimize the business in its daily operations.The business consultant is responsible for the functional design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of the software. In addition, business consultants will participate in other projects and daily operations.Who are we?Marel is a global leader in transforming the way food is processed. Furthermore, you’re:Minimum a bachelor's degree in Business administration, computer science or equivalent.Understanding business processes and translation into IT architecture.Preferably experienced in working with related software solutions like Vertex or Meridian and Basware.Someone with a solution and result-driven mentality.Excited to work in a global environment with a local team.You have experience in solving complex issues in the field of SAP FICO, preferably with SAP ECC.Experience with, or interest in S/4HANA is an advantage.Experienced in working with SAFe and scrum.Someone who’s analytical and structured.Someone who has the ability to translate functional requirements into technical specifications.Someone who’s a strong communicator with effective written and verbal skills.Interested?So, if you would like to contribute to the goal of feeding the world, please get in touch by applying to this role.
