We are headquartered in the flourishing tech hub of Prague, Czech Republic, and our teams are spread across the USA, UK, Germany, France, Canada, India and Chile, among other locations.We’re looking for an email marketing expert to bring their strategic thinking, data savvy, technical expertise and impeccable execution to maximize the effectiveness of Make’s email programs. We’re growing fast - and that means bigger ambitions, more complex needs. In this newly-created role, you’ll drive your own portfolio of email marketing activities, support other teams using the channel in their projects, and grow Make’s technical capabilities in email marketing.With an initial focus on driving impactful engagement with existing customers, this role will also need to partner closely with other teams across Make to ensure we take a holistic approach to managing all email activities across the company. Our ideal candidate is a pragmatic leader who can balance operational delivery while making meaningful progress towards a longer-term vision.ResponsibilitiesManage our overall portfolio of email activity, partnering with teams across Make to ensure its maximum effectiveness in responding to user needs and driving business results.Develop, implement and manage processes to ensure the timely delivery of impactful communications and campaigns to Make customers.Act as subject matter expert and owner for our tooling, advocating for and implementing technology solutions that are appropriate to our scale and ambitions.Partner with teams across Make to source and share data that drives the effectiveness of our customer acquisition and retention activities.Manage customer segmentation and targeting to ensure that campaigns are personalized and relevant to every recipient.Ensure appropriate reporting is available for email, while guiding the business on how best to evaluate performance.Use data to identify and drive opportunities for improvement in customer communication and engagement.Develop email best practices and enable internal stakeholders to follow them.Provide training and support to team members on email system usage and best practices.Ensure email practices comply with internal policies and data protection regulations.Requirements5+ years of experience in email marketing with demonstrated knowledge of email best practices including technical (deliverability, data, personalization), content (subject lines, messaging, design) and performance (send times, campaign cadences).Strong experimental and analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and metrics to drive decision-making and optimize marketing efforts.Proven track record in managing and growing a motivated team.Proficiency in English with the ability to create compelling messaging and content.Familiarity with email design and coding concepts such as HTML, CSS, Canva, Figma.Passion for customer-centric marketing and delivering exceptional customer experiences.Track record leading people, either in project teams and/or as a line manager.Experience working within a digital workflow, partnering with content writers, designers and technical teams to deliver effective campaigns.Proficiency in marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot).Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and represent marketing initiatives to key stakeholders.What we offerRSUs grant in a rapidly growing company raising its value every day.Multinational team with 42 nationalities creating the future of automation.Learning & Development plan (online language, professional courses, conference tickets and other trainings) & 2 Company Learning Days per year.3 Company Impact Days per year.Notebook/Macbook and 34’’ curved monitor.25 days of vacation, company day off on 31st December.10 care days to care for your loved ones.RSUs grant for a newborn child.Meal and transportation tickets, medical insurance.Team buildings, parties, and company events multiple times a year.Flexible working hours + home office.Join us on the rideWhat we stand for:We roll together - We embrace different ideas to grow together and create powerful solutions.Customer impact first - We empower our customers to succeed, aiming for sustainable impact.Game on - We're explorers at heart: play is our fuel and creativity has no limits.Make is an equal opportunity employer.
