Department Overview The Projects Department is responsible for working with internal stakeholders to assist in the preparation and presentation of new global projects across the group and presenting ideas to the Executive Board. The Executive Board will decide which projects should be undertaken and stipulate a project outline and priority level. The project team will be responsible for completing various tasks within the project outline in order to make each project a reality for the company stakeholders. Job Overview The Global Project Manager is tasked with developing detailed knowledge of all business units and the underlying market in order to deliver tangible improvements to company structure, processes and management. Projects will include, but are not limited to, overseas expansion, regulatory environment, internal processes and systems development. Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities Act as main contact point for relevant projects as allocated by leadership Maintain record of progress for allocated projects and update on a regular basis Lead the Projects Team Display enthusiasm for product and company knowledge in order to maximise contributions to a wide range of projects Business Knowledge / Technical Skills Developing project plans, goals, and budgets; identifying resources needed Developing schedules and methods for measuring results Guiding and performing strategic analysis for the project Organising and managing all phases of the project to ensure on-time delivery and completion Assembling and coordinating project team members; assigning individual responsibilities Preparing requests for proposals and conducting all necessary meetings to facilitate selection of project services and products Planning and overseeing the preparation and dissemination of project communications Experience of working within a regulated investment firm Experience of working in a project based role Proven track record of problem solving within a commercial environment Awareness of Global Financial Services Regulations Awareness of the regulatory environment in which an FX firm operates Knowledge of FX and derivatives Basic understanding of analysing financial data and the production of forecasts Competency in understanding and compiling business cases Ability to conduct detailed research across a range of subjects Systems / Knowledge Skills MS Office; Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams HR Systems - Workday Databases – FXDB (In House) Project Management Software Video conferencing software If you like wild growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over‑achievers, you'll enjoy your career with us.
