Working cross functionally within HR (HRBPs, Reward, Talent, Learning), you will bring a pragmatic yet thoughtful approach to aligning HR processes ensuring accuracy, consistency, and high-quality service, as we continue to scale at pace.The Europe South Region consists of a cluster of small business units within the Agfa Gevaert Group with Sales and Services, R&D teams and supporting functions totaling cca 220 employees based in Italy (offices in Milano and Macerata), Spain (office in Barcelona) and Greece.Main responsibilities:Deliver core HR operational support processes and operationally execute the implementation of our employee life cycle strategy across functions, business units and platformsBeing the main point of contact, provide specialist consultancy to management and employees on all HR related mattersHandle dialogues with social partners/works councilsEnsure compliance of the organization’s practices with applicable regulatory, labor legislation and collective labor agreementsSupport the integration of HR processes and platform and transitions to ensure smooth employee integration into the HR services structure/systems.Deliver data and reports for leadership teams, providing insights into operations, compliance, and service qualityDrive regional change management for new HR processes, systems, and policies, ensuring clear communication and alignment with business leaders on impacts to their operationsCollaborate with and manage external vendors to implement or customise HR technology solutions that meet the diverse requirements of the businessesRequirementsKnowledge of labor law and health & safety legislation in both Italy and SpainExcellent Spanish and Italian are a must have for this job
Operating and reporting within an international HR organization, English working knowledge is also important. Demonstrated ability to successfully manage conflict and ambiguity, while effectively problem solving in difficult situations.Credible negotiator and influencer with a high degree of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times.Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate on complex, sensitive and contentious issues with all levels within the business in a professional and positive mannerAbility to manage complex workloads and work to conflicting deadlinesBachelor’s degree and qualification in a related field (e.g. coaching, mediation, or employment law)Location: Your main office location will be in Barcelona (Esplueges de Llobregat). This is a hybrid working role which requires working in the office 3 days per week. Travel-flexibility is also necessary, attending offices within the region and at company’s headquarters in Belgium when remote operation is not possible.
