What are we looking for?
We are looking for a TPH Production Support Specialist , working close to one of our main clients in banking sector.

Main tasks and accountabilities will be:
Incident Resolution & Technical Analysis
Serve as the technical escalation point for 1st line support regarding TPH-related incidents and service disruptions
Conduct detailed investigations into failed payments, stuck messages, interface timeouts, queue build-ups, or reconciliation mismatches using logs, database traces, and monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, Dynatrace)
Diagnose root causes involving application logic or configuration
Resolve or coordinate fixes for issues related to message parsing/formatting (ISO 20022, MT/MX)
System Health & Stability Management
Perform routine health checks on TPH components
Maintain and enhance existing runbooks, SOPs, and recovery guides for common scenarios
Recommend improvements to increase system resilience, observability, and mean time to repair (MTTR)
Automation & Continuous Improvement
Propose and contribute to long-term solutions that reduce ticket volumes and prevent recurrence (e.g., tuning, config hardening)
Participate in Post-Incident Reviews (PIRs) and document findings with actionable recommendations
Reporting & Compliance
Ensure full compliance with internal policies, regulatory standards and audit requirements
Accurately log all activities in the service management tool (ServiceNow)
Assist in generating operational KPIs and availability reports for management review

What UST expects from you?
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent qualification
3–5 years of proven experience in second-line IT support, ideally within a private banking or wealth management environment
In-depth technical knowledge of:
Temenos Transact (T24) and Payments Hub (TPH) architecture and modules
payment standards: SWIFT MT/MX, ISO 20022, pain.001/pain.002
Below technical knowledge of would be considered an advantage:
JBoss EAP / WildFly application server (deployment, logging, JVM tuning basics)
Oracle Database – writing queries, reading /logs, executing scripts
Messaging systems: IBM MQ, Solace, or similar
Alliance Messaging Hub (AMH)
Familiarity with ITIL processes – Incident, Problem, Change, and Event Management
Good english level (C1) you will be working with international teams.

Work location
Hybrid. Madrid city center (Sol area). 3 days a week in the office.

Work schedule
Business Hours. No intensive working days for friday or summer.
