Software Development Engineer, Device OS Job ID: 3131218 | Amazon.com Services LLC This Job is for a most challenging, complex, high volume and large scale project having all possible AWS services+Integrations involved, CI/CD pipeline creation and management, CDK development, Cloud application development, deployment across number of AWS regions, Tools development for monitoring and operational excellence. Key job responsibilities The Engineer in this job is expected to make the design (High level and Low level), own end to end (depth) for specific set of features while having breadth on rest of the features and provide technical guidance for the Junior members in the team. A day in the life Feature development Peer Code and design review Interact with internal and external stakeholders (Dev and QA) on clarifying the requirements, resolving the dependencies etc. Oncall rotation About the team Team is working on a most business critical, high visibility, large scale & high device volume project involving embedded development (Device side), Cloud development (AWS services, API, CDK, Pipelines, Container management) etc. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design Preferred Qualifications 3+ years of leading development of applications backed by AWS services or using other cloud based technologies and services experience Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market.
