We are working with an exciting US biotech seeking a strategic, dynamic, and highly organized Medical Director to lead and manage international clinical studies focused on an exciting new IVF/IVM product.. This role will be pivotal in driving the success of global clinical trials and post-market surveillance studies across key markets including Europe, Australia, the Middle East, Latin America, and Asia.The ideal candidate is an infertility specialist medical doctor, self-starter with deep clinical management experience in clinical research, strong leadership capability, and a passion for innovation in reproductive health. Candidates with in vitro maturation (IVM) and a proven track record in clinical operations within pharma or biotech will be strongly preferred.About the RoleThis role will be pivotal in driving the success of global clinical trials and post-market surveillance studies across key markets including Europe, Australia, the Middle East, Latin America, and Asia.ResponsibilitiesImproving product adoption at external partner clinics and study sitesThis work will consist of virtual meetings as well as on-site visits to clinics internationally and in the US, including:Advising PIs on patient selectionAdvising PIs on appropriate application of minimal stimulation protocolTroubleshooting with PIs to improve egg yield and egg qualityWorking with centres to perform best practices in embryo transfersParticipate in publications, conference presentations, and scientific communications to strengthen product credibility.Scientific & Strategic LeadershipWork directly with the CSO to design new clinical studies and trials to further expand product development.Advising and developing protocols for advanced maternal age patientsAdvising and developing protocols for PCOS and hyper responder patientsRefining stimulation and monitoring protocolsImproving company resources for clinics and physiciansDevelopment and design of clinical and research studiesQualificationsMedical Degree in Obstetrics/Gynecology and/or reproductive endocrinologistInfertility treatment provider for IVF servicesFor more information on this company and the outstanding opportunity here please forward an up to date CV to stuart.gilboy@morganprestwich.com
