What you will do on your journey with WebBeds.As we expand our focus on big data management, we're seeking a skilled Data Scientist to join our team. You will play a key role in transforming how we collect, manage, and analyse data to support financial decision-making and strategic planning.In this role you will:Develop automated financial models and dashboards to improve reporting accuracy and efficiency.Support the automation and visualization of key financial metrics and dashboards.Partner with the finance team to improve financial planning process, analysis models, and monthly reporting capability.Integrate and manage data from multiple systems to support strategic planning and operational decision-makingApply advanced analytics and statistical techniques to support decision-making in pricing, demand, margin analysis, and resource allocationsCollaborate closely with finance business partners to translate data insights into actionable recommendations.Assist in preparing financial summaries, reports, and presentations for internal stakeholders, including senior management.The skills we would love to see in your suitcaseBachelor’s degree in finance, business, or data science.Experienced hybrid Data Analyst/Finance role ideally within FP&A or commercial finance, or finance/business analyst with big appetite to learn data scienceProficient in data visualization tools such as Power BI, and ideally in SQL, Python/R languagesUnderstanding of financial principles, planning cycles, and performance metrics.Ability to communicate complex data concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with cross-functional teams.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.WebBeds is a global digital travel marketplace for the travel trade, an intermediary connecting hotels and other travel service suppliers to a distribution network of travel buyers all over the world.
