Our technologies and services help banks exchange funds, people cross borders, energy become smarter and much more.More than 30,000 organizations already rely on us to verify the identities of people and things, grant access to digital services, analyze vast quantities of information and encrypt data to make the connected world more secure.Thales in Spain is a leader in technological solutions applied to Defence, Aeronautics, Security, Transportation and Space and, furthermore, is a global centre for excellence in Space, Security of Critical Infrastructures and Transportation.Thales Digital Identity & Security is a global leader in digital security, bringing trust to an increasingly connected world.We design and deliver a wide range of products, software and services based on two core technologies: digital identification and data protection.As a Product Line Architect, you will:Manage and coordinate software architecture studies across lifecycle phases from Bid to Delivery in collaboration with bid/project/product teams.Approve the technical, technological, and methodological choices taken in respect of the selected software architecture.Guarantee adherence to standards, reuse, and product policies.Prepare and document architecture choices, present and document their justification and trade-offs.Support and coach development teams throughout the development cycle.Lead and mentor technical delivery teams.Customize software solutions to meet client requirements. Attend to project/customer workshops when required.Ensure custom solutions are productized in future product releases.Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.Develop and manage product offers during bids aligned with market trends and product and business objectives.Participate in knowledge sharing, such as providing knowledge on software architecting or software practices, helping Delivery teams with designing custom modules, or launching webinars on product knowledge and customization.To succeed in this job, you must have:A Master's degree in Engineering or Computer Science and significant experience with Software Architecture within an Agile environment.A strong mindset of product management and understanding of customer needs.Proficiency in system and application architecture.Strong experience in customization and configuration management.Knowledge of integration tools and APIs.Familiarity with relevant programming languages and technology stacks.A passion for following the latest trends in innovation.Familiarity with engineering processes and solution definition.Proficiency in managing performance, robustness, and cybersecurity.Familiarity with design patterns and ability to define reusable referenced architecture in line with product policy.Excellent English and Spanish communication skills.Willingness to travel abroad occasionally for customer or project workshops.Good analytical and synthesis skills.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Ability to be convincing and persuasive while being a good listener.A team-player mentality and enjoyment of collaborative work.Open-mindedness and readiness to share experiences and knowledge.Other (advantage):Familiarity with hardware components and their integration within software systems.Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices for securing hardware and software systems.What do we offer?Shorter working days on Fridays and during August.Remote-friendly - 2/3 days a week working from home.Restaurant allowance and social benefits (health insurance, kindergarten).Free coffee on-siteThales is a company committed to equal opportunities between women and men, and for this reason, we work to raise awareness and disseminate information on the subject both internally and externally.At Thales we provide CAREERS and not only jobs.
