What you will do: The Role's Key Responsibilities and TasksAs an eDOer, you will have clear objectives, great challenges and a clear overview of how your work contributes to the global company project and its customers. As a Frontend Lead Engineer in the Convert vertical, you will be in charge of:Working with top-notch tech stack including: ES6 code, Javascript libraries like ReactJS, Graphql, storybook to speed up developments, testing frameworks and libraries like Jest, React testing library and Cypress, Style Sheet preprocessors like SASS, CSS-in-JS and styled-components, Dockerized modules, Git workflow with continuous integration.Collaborating with Product, Business, Architecture, Data Science to shape the technical strategy and evolution of the Hotels domain, define the technical strategy for your modules and ensure their optimal performanceHelping your team translate functional specifications into high-performance logical technical design and code and split the work into smaller tasks that add quick value to customersPromoting our standards of technical excellence, innovation and continuous improvement Leading a high performing cross functional agile team of 7-10 experienced software engineers and developersTaking an active role in finding and hiring the best talent available, in collaboration with our recruiters, and onboard new joiners into our culture of high performance, collaboration and growthManaging performance, setting goals and prioritising work for your team, balancing the capacity of the teamEstablish a sense of identity, engagement and belonging in your team, and improve team dynamics - in collaboration with your dedicated agile coachAct as a mentor, helping others develop their skills and professional career What you need to succeed: Must haveKnowledge and experience with coding, OO design, system design, performance tuning, performance engineering, design patterns, data modellingJava and code base knowledgeKnowledge and experience with distributed, concurrent and scalable systems Good to haveBring your unique perspective, speak up, and offer disruptive solutions.
