You will work closely with internal teams and clients to architect features that drive business value, ensure scalability, and enhance customer engagement processes. This role requires a deep understanding of Salesforce capabilities and healthcare industry practices, as well as strong consulting skills. Day-to-day, you’ll be acting as subject matter expert within salesforce-based solutions, transforming business requirements into technical design and specifications, while coaching less experienced team.Leveraging your expertise, you will estimate and engineer reliable solution implementation projects, together with a Project Manager, Business Analyst and developers, to deliver the designed solution by joining a hybrid team of internal resources, client teams and vendors/service providers and act as a reference point for technical aspects of the solution design throughout the implementation project.As a Salesforce Architect, your responsibilities include:Lead the architecture, design, and development of Salesforce solutions for pharma and healthcare clients, ensuring scalability and integration with existing systems.Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyse requirements, translating them into technical solutions aligned with business goals.Provide architectural leadership and guidance for Salesforce implementation projects, including customization, integrations, and data management.Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices, including regulatory and security requirements specific to healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors.Design solutions that integrate life science specific products and services to enhance data-driven decision-making and patient engagement.Work on projects involving Events Management, HCP (Healthcare Professional) engagement processes, and other relevant pharmaceutical use cases.Develop and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and solution roadmaps.Mentor and guide junior developers and solution architects on the team.Knowledge sharing.We offer this position in Spain or UK.What makes you the best person for this job?Must-Have Skills and Experience:Proven experience as a Salesforce Architect (Application / System or Technical architect certification would be expected).Broad experience with Salesforce platform capabilities implementation.Experience in integrating external systems with Salesforce following various integration patterns depending on use case / integration technology.Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, ideally with knowledge of regulations and processes.Experience designing complex, scalable solutions on the Salesforce platform, including integrations with external systems and data management.Deep understanding of Salesforce best practices, including security, performance optimization, and scalability.Consulting mindset.Ability to manage, steer & overview development / implementation teams on & offshore.On top of this, you have the following competences:A BSc or MSc from a leading university in e.g., business, computer science, finance, economics, information technology, or engineering with strong academic records.Experience in marketing, technology, and/or consulting with at least 5 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce products implementation.Knowledge of business modelling and process documentation.Understanding of relational database concepts, ETL processes, data management and segmentation best practices.Ability to lead and facilitate workshops, technical and functional requirements gathering, and design sessions.Demonstrated ability to architect, build and execute data feeds, platform configuration, and components needed to run complex multi-channel marketing automation and related reporting & analytics.Knowledge of API integration with CRM platforms and Web properties.Ability to think strategically and develop a real understanding of stakeholder need.Excellent in communication and interfaces with clients.Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.It will be a plus if you have these additional capabilities:Strong understanding of IQVIA or Veeva products and how they integrate with Salesforce to support healthcare business processes (ideally certifications).Previous consulting experience, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Life Science Cloud / Health Cloud experience.Experience with Events Management and HCP engagement processes in a healthcare or pharmaceutical setting.Additional Salesforce certifications such as AI, Platform Developer 2, Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud etc.AI Knowledge.What makes us the best employer for you?BASE life science has been recognized as an outstanding workplace, earning us the Great Place To Work certification in Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.We are proud to represent 35+ nationalities among our colleagues, and firmly believe in the power of diverse perspectives and characteristics to drive truly innovative solutions and achieving excellence.At the heart of our organization lies a foundation grounded in five core values: team spirit, trust, openness, ambition, and execution.
